CAMWorksView app for iPhone and iPad

CAMWorksView is a high performance 3D CAM data viewer for your iPad & iPhone. With CAMWorksView, users can review and annotate 3D Work In Process (WIP) models, tool paths and relevant operation data on the go anywhere from the shop floor to the design room.

Highlights
Interact with 3D WIP models using the intuitive touch interface. Pinch to zoom, single finger drag to rotate, two finger drag to pan and two finger rotate to roll the model. Double tap to reset the model.

Navigate and visualize toolpaths and WIP models through Model Views. See CAMWorks Operation parameters through Model Attributes.

Perform cross-sections and save/email snapshots. Collaborate and share feedback using the free hand markup & text markup tool. Email your models from within the app.
View Product Structure for assembly models, and hide/show components from the assembly tree. You can also hide/show components based on material/texture or color properties.

How To Use
1.On your desktop machine, open SolidWorks or CAMWorks Solids along with CAMWorks application as an Add-In.
2.Open a SolidWorks part
3.Create Operations and toolpath by executing standard steps like Extracting Machinable Features, Generate Operation Plans and Generate Tool Path.
4.In the CAMWorks Operation tree, right click on CAMWorks NC Manager tree node and select “Publish CAMWorksView file…” from the context menu.
5.This action generates two files (1 .jt file and 1 .cwview file) on your desktop machine at a user-specified location.
6.Both generated files contain the stock, finished part and WIP models along with Operation Parameters and toolpaths.
7.The generated file with ‘.jt’ extension can be viewed on your desktop using the free ‘Glovius Desktop Viewer’ application.
8.The generated file with ‘.cwview’ extension can be viewed on iOS devices (such as iPad and iPhone) using CAMWorksView App.
9.Within the CAMWorksView App, the Model Views functionality can be used to easily navigate through the WIP models which are maintained in an assembly hierarchy.
10.There are two ways to transfer the ‘.cwview’ file to your iOS device:
i.Transfer the .cwview files to your iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch using iTunes file sharing feature.
ii.Open .cwview files from email, websites and cloud storage services like Dropbox etc.
